Marcos fish bar in Birmingham is fantastic. The restaurant is a take out exclusively and is busy. The shop is kept clean and well maintained. The fish portion is generous. The photo may not look it but the large fish and chips is huge compared to even Canadian/American standards. The prices are very good as well. Chips are good and seasoned for you. After eating here I didn’t feel horrible afterwards and even the next day. That’s when you know you’ve had good fish and chips. They do not have gluten free options. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely shop and very friendly staff! Both the owner and employees always ready to help with a smile and always there to help you decide your meal with some lovely suggestions and samples to try! Very well priced considering the cost of everything these days and compared to other takeaways! Perfect fish size, perfectly cooked and delicious kebabs! Also love the southern fried chicken! Highly recommend!

Very nice, relaxing and very warm. Beautiful atmosphere and very nice welcoming. I will be coming back there regularly. Chicken and chips is my favourite food ever. I would like to try something different and new soon.💫😃 Very good customer service experience 👍 👏 fantastic 😊

Went in this place whilst passing through the area and I’m very goad I did. This is a proper chippy! Old school tastes like it used to be 20 odd years ago. Quality ingredients, awesome taste, hygienic and staff (AZIZ) was an absolute gentleman. What a great guy and a great place! I tried a lamb donner in pitta which was 10/10. Also tried a cod and chips which also was 10/10. I have to become a regular now whenever I am in the area. TRY IT - YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!

Old school 90's style chip shop , trip down memory lane. I had cod and chips from here , £10 but worth every penny. Quality was exceptional, as was the portion size and customer service. Deffo will be visiting again soon

What an absolutely excellent meal every time. The chips are perfectly cooked, seasoned extremely well and hit the spot every time. I often find myself coming to Marco’s when I’m feeling down as I know the food will pick me right back up. I am a die hard fan of the fish too. Keep up the good work, guys.
